“Bultex 99” invests 7 million in a new industrial facility in Plovdiv

Leading manufacturer of protective and workwear clothing and personal protective equipment “Bultex 99” is beginning to expand its industrial base in Plovdiv. Over the next year, the company will invest more than 7 million leva in the construction of a new complex with a total area of 6,500 square meters.
A major part of the complex will be used as a warehouse. Covering 4,500 square meters, the facility meets all European standards. It will have 10,000 pallet spaces and will support the company’s tremendous e-commerce growth. The administrative building will also be expanded. The company’s constantly growing team will work in a new, modern environment covering 1,000 square meters. An equally sized area has been allocated for the company showroom, where visitors will have the opportunity to learn about the latest trends in workwear and personal protective equipment.
“This expansion is necessary for us to improve the level of service we provide to our customers. Plovdiv is becoming an increasingly strong economic center. International investors in the city are significant, but I am pleased that more and more Bulgarian companies are also reporting growth,” said Eng. Stefan Bashev, Managing Director of “Bultex 99”.
Bultex 99’s head office is located in Plovdiv. The company operates 23 retail outlets across the country, while its production facility is located in Zlatograd. The company employs nearly 200 people, half of whom are based in Plovdiv.
