“BULTEX 99” Ltd. is implementing a project under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan for the production of energy from renewable sources for self-consumption, combined with battery storage

 Plovdiv, November 14, 2023 “Bultex 99” Ltd. has launched the implementation of a project under Procedure BG-RRP-3.006, “Construction of New Renewable Energy Sources for Self-Consumption in Combination with Local Energy Storage Facilities in Enterprises,” which is being implemented under the “Economic Transformation Programme” investment within the “Smart Industry” component of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan.

The project activities involve the construction of a photovoltaic installation with a total capacity of 172.8 kWp for the production of energy from renewable sources for self-consumption at the commercial facility and office in the city of Plovdiv, established as a logistics center of “Bultex 99” Ltd., combined with local energy storage facilities (batteries) with a capacity of 214 kWh.

The total project budget is BGN 491,616.00, of which BGN 221,227.20 is grant funding under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, and the duration of the project activities is 18 months.

The project of “Bultex 99” Ltd. to construct renewable energy sources for self-consumption, combined with local energy storage facilities, will promote the company’s environmentally responsible operations and optimize the company’s operating costs—key factors in increasing competitiveness and supporting its sustainable business growth.

The implementation of the investments under the project will also contribute to achieving the Energy Union’s objectives for secure, sustainable, competitive, and affordable energy, promote the decentralization of the electricity supply system, and contribute to the country’s green transition.
