Let’s spread the spirit of goodwill – Bultex 99’s charity Christmas market

Every year, we welcome the Christmas holidays with excitement and anticipation. With hope, we look toward a brighter future. Despite the extraordinary circumstances that put our faith in the magic of Christmas to the test, we united around the mission of responding to difficulties with kindness.

Thus, for the first time, and in a format different from previous years, the Bultex 99 team organized its charity bazaar. Efforts were made to hold it in compliance with the safety measures in place, in support of the Olga Skobeleva Social Services Complex and the St. Vrach Home for Adults with Intellectual Disabilities in Plovdiv.

Hardworking and skillful children and adults from both institutions traditionally make handmade cards, toys, and incomparable Christmas decorations every year. This year, however, the bazaar was held in a different format. In addition to everyone within the Bultex 99 organization, it was also aimed at customers and friends.

The charity initiative took place locally on December 23, in front of the company’s logistics center in Plovdiv. Conditions were provided to ensure the maximum safety of attendees—the stands were arranged outdoors with the necessary distance between them, and everyone had protective masks specially made for the occasion with Christmas motifs.

The sunny weather made the event’s atmosphere even warmer. The festive decorations added to the visitors’ Christmas spirit. With the necessary safety measures in place, an appetizing selection of specialties made from carefully selected sausages and mulled wine prepared according to a special German recipe was provided.

At the outdoor stands, beautiful and unique items impressed visitors with the craftsmanship that went into making them. Especially for the charity bazaar, the art therapy workshops at St. Vrach made cards and, with the help of a master glassmaker, created Christmas tree ornaments. The children from the Olga Skobeleva Social Services Complex had also prepared themed cards for the Nativity celebration, as well as charming ceramic items and art souvenirs.

Each guest was given the opportunity to decide how much to pay for the Christmas creations, which were divided into several categories. The management of both institutions expressed their gratitude for the generosity of all donors. They appreciate the concern shown for disadvantaged people and the noble initiative, whose mission has already inspired even more hearts. They share that what matters most is the satisfaction of the young and old craftspeople who enjoy creating and bringing joy and positive emotions to every home through their work. The funds raised will be used to improve living conditions at St. Vrach Home for Adults with Intellectual Disabilities and to organize a summer holiday for the children from the Olga Skobeleva Social Services Complex.

Following the successful organization of the charity bazaar in this format, our team plans to hold the event again in December, but on a national scale, so that even more people will have the opportunity to be part of something so beautiful and genuine. In this way, we hope to increase the funds raised and provide the necessary assistance to other institutions in different regions of the country as well. We are directing our efforts toward spreading the spirit of kindness and hope that the situation in the country will improve this year, allowing a larger-scale event to take place.

We believe that kindness should not stop here, but should have a place in our actions every day. We strive to show solidarity both with the individual struggles of people in need and with various causes. Every year, we donate clothing and shoes to different homes in various regions of the country. This year, we used the allocated funds to supply the state hospitals, infectious disease wards, specialized institutions, and children’s institutions most affected by the epidemic situation with masks, disinfectants, and protective suits. With care and concern, we donated food products to homes in Plovdiv and to one of the largest public organizations in Bulgaria. We are glad to find fellow supporters for every cause and that, even in such difficult times, we can find the strength together to do something good.

We hope that this year, once again together, we will continue our mission of making the world a more beautiful, better, and safer place.

THANK YOU!

The Bultex 99 Team
