Martenitsi with a Cause

One of the most wonderful holidays, marking the beginning of spring, is just around the corner. As tradition dictates, this year we will once again welcome Baba Marta and wish, more than ever, to be healthy and strong.

For the sixth consecutive year, the team at Bultex 99 will mark March 1 with handmade martenitsi created by the children at the Olga Skobeleva Social Services Complex. Preparations for the holiday have already begun, and we are looking forward to receiving more than a thousand beautifully crafted items. The children are constantly developing their talents and skills, and we are delighted that the funds raised from the purchased martenitsi will provide them with the opportunity to continue their creative development.

For charitable purposes, we will also purchase the martenitsi made by the St. Vrach Home for Adults with Intellectual Disabilities. We decided to share with all of you that this year you can surprise your clients, partners, and employees by ordering the specially made martenitsi crafted by the skilled children at the Olga Skobeleva Social Services Complex. They are made from durable woolen threads and depict the familiar and beloved Pizho and Penda. You will find them in the traditional holiday colors—white and red—and some of the cheerful, colorful designs also feature green, yellow, and blue. Each martenitsa is individually packaged and includes information about its creators, as well as a heartfelt holiday wish. If you would like to support the cause and order martenitsi for your company, contact us at 0889 860 889 or inquire about quantities by emailing sales@stenso.net. All our individual customers and partners who would like to purchase a martenitsa for charitable purposes and thereby support these institutions will be able to find individual pieces at the checkout counters in Bultex 99 stores from 15 February. Thank you for your interest in our initiative to distribute these beautiful items, made with great enthusiasm and care by our young and adult friends.
